Advanced Concrete Coatings
LIMITED WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY – UP TO 10 YEARS
Advanced Concrete Coatings SWFL (“ACC”) provides a Limited Workmanship Warranty for up to ten (10) years, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.
ACC provides:
- A standard one (1) year Limited Workmanship Warranty beginning on the date of substantial completion; and
- A Conditional Extended Workmanship Warranty extending coverage up to ten (10) years total, provided required maintenance conditions are met.
This Limited Warranty applies solely to defects arising from ACC’s original installation workmanship and does not constitute a material warranty.
1. One (1) Year Limited Workmanship Warranty
ACC warrants that installation services performed under this Agreement shall be completed in a good and workmanlike manner consistent with generally accepted industry standards.
Coverage under the standard Limited Workmanship Warranty remains in effect for one (1) year from the date of substantial completion.
2. Conditional Extended Workmanship Warranty (Years 2–10)
The Limited Workmanship Warranty may be extended beyond the initial one (1) year period for up to a total of ten (10) years from the date of substantial completion, provided the Owner complies with all maintenance requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
To maintain eligibility for the extended warranty, Owner must:
• Have the coated surface professionally cleaned and re-sealed by ACC
• Complete such maintenance at intervals no greater than twenty-four (24) months
• Use ACC exclusively for required maintenance unless otherwise approved in writing
Failure to complete required maintenance within the specified timeframe immediately terminates eligibility for extended coverage.
Upon completion of each qualifying maintenance service, coverage continues until the next required maintenance interval.
3. Material Performance
ACC utilizes commercial-grade rubber surfacing materials selected for durability and suitability for Florida’s climate. Long-term performance may be influenced by environmental exposure, chemical contact, usage patterns, and maintenance practices.
This Limited Warranty does not constitute a material warranty beyond any manufacturer warranty that may apply.
4. Standard Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover conditions resulting from factors beyond ACC’s control, including but not limited to:
• Damage from impact, abuse, or misuse
• Improper or neglected maintenance
• Chemical damage or staining
• Acts of nature or environmental events
• Structural movement
• Concrete cracking or substrate failure
• Moisture-related conditions originating from the slab or surrounding structure
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic changes, fading, or aging
5. Concrete & Substrate Conditions
Owner acknowledges that concrete is a natural material subject to movement, cracking, and moisture transmission.
ACC makes no warranty regarding:
• Structural integrity of the substrate
• Pre-existing defects
• Conditions arising from slab movement
• Moisture migration from below or surrounding structures
6. Transferability
This Limited Warranty is extended solely to the original homeowner and is non-transferable.
